Quick Start Manual for Shordex dApp
This guide will help you set up and start using the Shordex decentralized application (dApp) at dev.unihedge.io. Follow these steps to get started in with minimal effort.
Please visit shordex.io site to understand what Shordex and its mission are.
1. Set Up Your Crypto Wallet
To interact with Shordex, you’ll need a crypto wallet. We recommend using Rabby Wallet (available as a mobile app or Chrome extension).
Steps:
Download and Install Rabby Wallet:
Visit rabby.io and download the wallet for your device (mobile or Chrome extension).
Create and Secure Your Wallet:
Follow the setup instructions to create a new wallet.
Save your seed phrase and password in a secure location. These are essential for recovering your wallet.
Find Your Wallet Address:
Once your wallet is set up, locate your wallet address. You’ll need this to receive gas tokens.
2. Subscribe to Shordex Telegram Channel
To access the Shordex dApp, you must subscribe to the official Shordex Telegram channel.
Steps:
Open Telegram and search for Shordex @shordexio channel.
Join the channel to stay updated and gain access to the dApp.
3. Use Shordex Telegram Bot
The Shordex Bot (@shordexbot) will help you get approval and gas tokens.
Steps:
Launch the Shordex Bot:
Search for Shordex Bot @shordexbot in Telegram and start a chat.
Request Approval:
Use the
/accesscommand to request access to the dApp. Please allow some time for response.Once approved, the bot will provide you with a password along with your Telegram ID (as your login) for logging into dev.unihedge.io.
Request Gas Tokens:
Use the
/tokenscommand to request gas tokens.Provide your wallet address when prompted. The bot will send gas tokens (POL) to your wallet. Please note that there are daily limits for every user.
4. Access the Shordex dApp
Now that you have gas tokens, you can access the Shordex dApp.
Steps:
Open your Rabby Wallet and navigate to the Websites section.
Visit dev.unihedge.io.
Enter the password provided by the Shordex Bot to log in.
Click connect wallet button and confirm the connection in your Rabby Wallet.
5. Complete Wallet Setup with Wallet Master
Use the Wallet Master tool in site header to configure your wallet for Shordex.
Steps:
Set Network:
Click Set Network (or Switch Network if you previously set Polygon Amoy network) to configure your wallet for Polygon Amoy network (ID 80002).
Add Tokens:
Click Add Shortbit Token to add Shortbit to your wallet.
Add other asset tokens (e.g., USDT, WETH) as needed.
Mint and Approve Tokens:
Mint Test USDT (up to the limit of 200 tokens per mint) and then approve it (any amount up to the amount owned by you) for trading.
Mint Test WETH (up to the limit of 1 token per mint) and then approve it (any amount up to the amount owned by you) for trading.
Minting tokens and Approving transaction limits require gas. Rabby wallet allows effectively manage gas spending, and the saving can be huge - as much as 15-20 times lower than default gas setting. We encourage you to explicitly set Custom value of gas price in the wallet as low as 30 GWei per gas unit.
6. Checklist Before Trading
Before you start trading, ensure you’ve completed the following:
Wallet Setup:
Installed and configured Rabby Wallet.
Connected your wallet to dev.unihedge.io.
Access and Gas Tokens
Got access and gas (POL) tokens from bot.
Network and Test Tokens:
Set the correct network in your wallet.
Added Shortbit and other tokens to your wallet.
Test Tokens:
Received test versions of USDT and WETH for trading.
7. Start Trading and Staking Shortbit
You’re all set! Now you can:
Trade Shortbit for USDT and WETH.
Stake Shortbit to earn rewards.

The entire setup process should take 5–15 minutes (excluding approval response time delay).
